Rebels welcome Troy Roller as our 10U Roller Baseball Coach
Troy Roller is joining the Rebels organization to coach our second 10U team. Troy played baseball for GVSU as a catcher from 1996-1999 under Coach Andy Chopp, catching All-Time MLB “Holds” record holder Matt Thornton. Troy took baseball coaching theory and studied sports management within the Siedman School of Business at GVSU.Troy has coached Vicksburg Little League as head coach and assistant coach for several of his children's teams.
Troy has served First Reformed Church of Portage, as Deacon and is currently serving as Chairman of Deacons, and property vision team leader, as well as Kalamazoo Christian school council and finance committee. Troy has coached Vicksburg Little League as head coach and assistant coach for several of his children's teams. Troy’s wife Brooke leads the MOPS (Mothers of Pre-schoolers) program at First Reformed Church of Portage. Troy is a father of six Madelyn, Cohen, William, Alice, Lois and David and is dedicated to helping them be all that they can be on and off the field.
